Warranty Terms and Conditions of Sale

Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped via third party couriers, such as Toll, Ipec, TNT, Hunter Express, Northline, Aramex, StarTrack. Orders are processed and dispatched within 1-5 business days where stock is available. If there is a waiting time, check each model listed for the Estimated Dispatch Date (ETD) for each different model. Once your order is dispatched the courier service may take 3-21 days delivery, regional and some remote areas require additional days delivery time. During events of COVID related, Flooding or Fire, delivery time may increase. Free Delivery does not apply to items on sale, exclusions apply to specific items and areas.

Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm only. All purchases are allocated a Tracking Number. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date or time. Please follow your tracking number, with the courier provided to get updates on delivery. We may be unable to do home delivery service to some areas of Australia for large bulk scooters, in this case we can deliver to your closest pick up depot. If you are not home to accept delivery, or delivery occurs to a regional home, bulk, or tail lift surcharge, this will be charged to the customer. Please check before placing your order.

Please ensure that you (or someone else) is at home during expected delivery. If you are not at home in time of the delivery, a note will be left with further instructions. 

Reef Bikes is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. Some models may have a waiting period for processing and production time, during this processing time we cannot cancel the order once production is under way of your bike or scooter. Delivery dates are given as an ETA only, meaning Estimated Time of Arrival and ETD Estimated Time of Dispatch, which is subject to change.

When ordering delivery, your bike will be delivered in a box approximately 90% assembled and ready to go (excluding Escape model). Reef Bikes is not responsible for completing assembly and fine tuning of your bike. The customer is responsible for completing assembly and fine tuning of all parts. If any parts are damage or missing, you must submit a warranty claim form within 3 days from delivery. Although the bikes are mostly setup, the customer is responsible for a safety check before riding, such as brakes, gears, spokes, handle bars, seat posts, shifters, pedals, tyres, and tightening all nuts and screws, and recommended to be done by your local bike shop or professional mechanic.


All orders can be made online via our website. You do not need to register to order. You will receive an email with details of your order.

We accept credit card payments for Visa, Mastercard, AMEX. Bank EFT, Money Order, Bank Cheque.

Viewing Orders

To view your orders, you will need to register. Once registered, you can come back at anytime and view any previous orders.

Security Policy

When purchasing from Reef Bikes your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard. Returns, Repairs & Replacements

We do not accept any cancellations, once your order is under production. All Products are guaranteed to work on arrival, as they are quality checked and tested before delivery. If in any case a part of your product is not working on arrival or major damage, it will be assessed by REEF HQ and repaired under warranty, and repaired or replaced.

Refund Policy

Please choose carefully. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. If your item is faulty, or major damage, your issue will be assessed and solved under warranty, and repaired, refunded or replaced.

Release and Waiver of Public Liability and Injury

Riding an electric bicycle or scooter can be dangerous, and cause injury and death, to you the customer and to others in the public. By buying any product, bicycle, electric bicycle or scooter from Reef Bikes, you the customer take responsibility of your own safety, and the safety of the public. You agree to follow your local governments road rules and laws. You agree not to ride an electric bike and scooter where it is not allowed. If you have purchased the Offroad Predator or Bullshark models, you agree that this is not a road legal bicycle, and must not be used on roads or in public. If you the customer, modifies any parts or modifies the power or increases the speed limits above the legal limit, of any model Reef Bike, you are not allowed to use your bike on roads or in public. You the customer agree that you have read and understand all the risks and agree to waive and release Reef Bikes from any responsibility and liability to you the customer and the public.

Warranty Claims 

If your Reef Bike product needs repair and is covered under the Warranty Conditions, The Warranty Repairs Form must be submitted. Please fill out the online form with all details, description, and photo or video evidence. 

Reef Bikes warranty and servicing uses local 3rd party repairers all over Australia. So you dont have to worry about sending your bike back to Reef HQ. You only need to take your bike to the local repairer nearest to you, or home mobile mechanic service for mobility scooters in major areas.  We have a contact for repairs in most major cities and towns across Australia. If we dont have a mechanic in your area, you are permitted to use certified mechanic in your town, nearest to you.

3 Years Warranty on the Bike Frame only.

1 Year Warranty on all other parts, mechanical and electrical parts.


How The Warranty Does Not Apply

When the bicycle is used negligently or results in damage due to traffic accident, your bicycle is not covered under warranty.  Distance travelled per charge is not covered under warranty, if your bicycle does not reach the factory estimated distance advertised, (this is only an estimate) and can vary greatly depending on how you use the bike, this is not covered under warranty. Batteries do lose capacity over time, minor capacity loss will not be covered under warranty, If the battery pack is used incorrectly or tampered with, this will void your warranty. If you have not charged your battery regularly, if you have left your battery sitting unused for over a month, this is will void your warranty. If you have damaged your charger or battery by incorrect use, this will not be covered under warranty. We do not guarantee your bike will be able to power up all hills, and the degree and duration of incline will not be covered under warranty. Damage ascribed to normal wear and tear and maintenance. Wear and tear and maintenance parts that are not covered under warranty include: Tyres, Tubes, Brakes, Brake Pads, Wheel Spokes, Derailleur Tuning, Gear Adjustments, Bottom Bracket Tightening, Handlebar adjustments, chain, and general tightening all nuts. Poor maintenance will void your warranty. Rust and corrosion as a result of poor maintenance, and will not be covered. Modifications to the bicycle and components will void your warranty. Damage due to external causes, or act of nature will not be covered. If the bicycle is put up for hire, or used commercially this will void the warranty. Reef Bikes will provide the spare replacement parts. Repairs that have not been approved by Reef Bikes will not be covered.



All reef bike repairs not under warranty can also be repaired at our service centers at the customers cost. Please fill out the Repairs Form to book your bike in for repairs.
